Kind of says it all. The pickup came in guitar bought off eBay and I found out that it had a short probably in the coil. It gives a resistance reading of 0 but makes sound (overly bright, weak, and kind of lousy).

If you want a project or want to strip it for parts just let me know.

You cover shipping and it's yours.

do you need a tele pup?

Re: Free to Good Home - SD Broadcaster Lead in Need of Rewind

I did need one but bought a new Broadcaster to replace it. The guy who sold me the guitar was stand up and offered to pay half so I went that route.

I did check here but didn't see any vintage output ones for sale.

Do you have one for sale? Might be interested in having a spare.

If nobody takes this pup it will just end up the trash so please spare it from the landfill.

Bridge pup?

I will take if it is.

I can always have MJ rewind it.

Yes bridge pup. I'm asking just for postage and it's yours. PM me and I'll send you a PP address.

To be completely transparent there may be other issues I don't know about but as I mentioned it's producing sound.

I was going to look into that but since it ended up costing me $25 to get a new one I thought that made sense.
