Fret filing

Well, I have turned the neck a bit on the Falcon I just bought and 1 fret is still buzzing out so I will need to file it just a bit, what have you all used for filing frets? Thanks, Deb

Deb, please dont do this unless, you know exactly what you are doing and you are trained in fretwork. Seriously, this kind of job should be handled by a pro!

The Fret might need to be re-set, hammered back down or, leveled in.
What fret is it anyway?

One day i'll tell you all about the time when i worked for Hohner and this guy rang me to tell me that the music shop he'd bought his guitar from had told him his frets needed filing so he thought he would do it himself...

One day. When i have the time, and i have recovered from the trauma.

I still get flashbacks, you know. The doctors say time heals...
