Fried Pod xt

Up until here recently, I'd been using my pod xt for recording clips & noodlings, nothing serious.
A week ago, we had a lightening storm. I think it fried my pod, cause it comes on, but does nothing anymore.
Since I don't have a great need of expensive recording gear, I was wondering what other type of gear (like the pod) is suited
to my recording needs.
I'm currently looking on the bay for a replacement pod on the cheap. Just seeing what else might be out there.

Thanks for any suggestions

Re: Fried Pod xt

If you like the sounds of the XT, try to get an X3. It's the XT with all the add-on packs.

Re: Fried Pod xt

I had the HD500 for a week. Sold it and went back to the POD Farm software, which is the same as the X3. Just didn't find the sounds I was looking for.

Re: Fried Pod xt

I still have my X3L. I've used it once since I Got the HD500.
I'd ask if you wanted to sell it, but I checked prices on ebay after dominus' post, & they're out of my price range.
Just spent $400 on new oil pump, timing belt, water pump, valve cover gasket, & distributor rebuild kit for my 96 camry.
It stinks when the shyte hits the fan all at once!
If you would sell, what'd be the price, just curious?

Re: Fried Pod xt

I'm sorry that happened man. Do you not have a power conditioner for it? Anyways hope you can a new one or better yet an X3. I have an Axefx and I still think those sound and look cool haha.

Re: Fried Pod xt

Some of the free software that's out there is actually quite good, if you wanted to go that route!
Assuming you could get a signal in
