From 250k to 500K pots - how much difference?

I have an Ant II Firebird minibucker in the neck position of my Tele and although it sounds fantastic it could benefit from a bit more treble. Not much, just a little.

I think the Gibson Firebird used 500K pots and I am still using the stock Fender 250K pots. So I am thinking of changing the pots to 500K pots and adding a 270K resistor to the SC in the bridge.

This is what Fender used on their HS Tele with a full-size humbucker but the mini is far brighter. I fear the 500K pot will make the mini too bright.

How much difference does a 500K pot make?

on my strat i got an hot rail. before i had a 250k pot but then i changed in with a 500k. now i like the sound better, you got a bit more bite and a more open sound, bright. i don't dislike 500k with single coil, sound more open and glassy which i think is cool.
but the only thing to do is try the 500k pot and hear the difference!
