I'm finally selling my strat. I've had it for about 3 years. Times are pretty hard and I really don't need it.
This is my 2003 Fender CIJ Antigua Stratocaster
The "Antigua" finish is very rare. Fender produced a few of their instruments in the 50's in Antigua for a short time, then in the 70's they produced a whole line of Antigua guitars and basses. Then they reissued the finish a few years ago, not for long though.
It is CIJ (crafted in Japan), and has American Fender electronics, and a super smooth neck and finish.
The guitar is in perfect working condition. However, one of the machine heads is broken at the top BUT STILL WORKS. It's really hard to explain the broken part, so if any potential buyers are interested I will post a picture of it. But honestly, it's been that way for about two years, and I've never had as much as a tuning problem.
Other than that the finish is spotless, and the pickups are stock. Honestly, I really do love this guitar. I really wish I didn't have to sell it. It's a great stratocaster. Tones of mojo, and it gets a lot of attention wherever you take it.
If anyone is interested PM me for more info. I'm asking $650.00 for the guitar.
