Early 1969 Fender Silverface Bassman. Faceplate has some bumps, metal corners have some rust, it still has the little hatches on the bottom of the amp that everybody always took off. But overall pretty good shape. A few years back it got some work done on it by Rick Potter (RIP) who was considered one of the best amp repairmen in the US. It was rewired and the guy who got it said he wasn't sure what he did to it but Mr. Potter said he had changed some parts to be closer to the earlier bassmans. I am not sure if this meant he blackfaced it or what but this is what the seller told me.
Either way, it sounds great. It is easily the best amp for cleans and breakup tones I have ever heard, just absolutely amazing sounding. I love plugging in this amp and just wailing on some blues.
$570 shipped in the CONUS. I can get pics but it might take a while because my moms camera didn't like getting dropped. hehe.
Trades: I am mainly looking for an Orange TH30 Head, I can add money onto the deal of course. I guess you can make an offer if you have something else, it doesn't hurt to ask.
Thanks for looking guys.
