Jimmy are you sure these are T-tops and not Shaws? My Shaws have a serial number on the back and I think yours fall into the time frame too.

Just a thought you might want to check out.

NOT Shaws bro. The "T" on the plastic bobbin means they are classic Gibson "t-tops"which all T-tops possess, howveevr the etched serial number, "2737.."denotes that they are later T-tops, from late 70's /early 80's. The older T-tops with the patent sticker"2737..". are the most desirable ones from the 60's. Not that Jimmys pickups arent desirable, cause they are. I have a later etched T-top in the neck of my '80 SG and its a nice sounding pickup IMHO.
I don't know excatly how to determine Shaws. I think there is both Stcker and etching. Dunno.

Shaws I've seen pics of have a date "stamp" in pretty bold black lettering-like many of the early to mid 80s Dirty Fingers- I've had a pair myself way back when, but never pulled them for a look-see

Good luck on the sale- I wish I could swing it myself.

Shaws are also a little bit higher in output and darker sounding than a T-Top.

Would you be interested in any partial cash/trades?

I've got the following items to choose from :D

1) Fender Custom Shop 69 (single coil)
2) Duncan Pickup booster
3) Pocket Pod

No, I need the money for a new amp -- that is, NEED the money.

No deal, Jeffb! NO DEAL!

(naw, I'm just kidding. If you had the money, we'd have a deal.)
