This is my 1980's Fender Japan Stratocaster. I've had this guitar for about 10 years and until getting my Gibson ES-335 it was my only dual humbucking pickup guitar. Now that I have my Gibson I'm offering my Strat for sale.

It's in great shape. Very pretty! A few dents and scuffs but no real damage. It's clean!

Includes the vibrato arm. I never use it but it's in the gig bag.

These 80's Fender Japan Squier are great guitars! Light weight, resonant and made from quality woods and with attention to detail not found in Fender USA guitars of the time.

The only weak spot in these Squiers is the electronics: the pickups and pots. This guitar has brand new 500K CTS pots and the pickups were changed to a vintage Carvin and a Seymour Duncan Jazz bridge model.

The frets are medium and nearly perfect. Easy string bending and no buzzes or fret outs.

Low action and very easy to play.

This is a terrific guitar and it's been very well cared for. I'll miss it!

Thinking $350. including shipping to anywhere in the USA.

I'll include an inexpensive gig bag.

Just put it on Ebay. Sure would like to sell it locally though. Think I'll put it on Craigslist this morning.

Got a PM asking about the Carvin pickup. This is the same pickup Frank Zappa used for quite a few years in his Les Paul and it's excellent sounding. Similar to a 59N in tone but there's no drop out at all with all those polepieces. Great sustain and when you bend a note it's always over the polepieces.

I've had this pickup for years and have used it in several guitars. Even used it as the bridge pickup it one of my Strats with a couple of Duncan SSL-1 single coils. It's gets a great tone!

The bridge pickup is a Duncan Jazz bridge model. It's balanced perfectly with the Carvin and when I switch to the bridge pickup it's just a little bit louder than the Carvin. Just the way it should be.

Jolly uses the Duncan Jazz in some of his Les Pauls and if you've ever heard Jolly's recordings you know what a great tone this pickup gets for crunch rhythms and soloing. Terrific pinch harmonics!
