Ah...the joys of parenthood...regretably, due to an unexpected pending financial obligation, I'm going to have to pass this lovely Maple Board Baretta on to a new owner.
From what I can tell, the guitar appears to be original parts (to include OFR - sorry...no screw in arm for it, Schaller Tuners, Nut, Wrench Holder, etc. - all in EXCELLENT CONDITION) other than the EMG 81/EMG Compatible Volume Pot and Jack/Tele Cup Jack.
The EMG was/is more or less direct mounted to the pickup ring via electric tape windings on the perimeter of the pickup itself which holds it securely in the pickup ring, as the pickup itself has no mounting tabs. It is properly height elevated on a couple of wood pieces siliconed in the pickup cavity. Stable, fully functional and adequately secured. The EMG 81 actually sounds really good, as it's an older model. Someone previously stated...it's "begging for an old Duncan MJ Wound Zebra JBJ" anyway.
The Neck has a little wear on a couple of frets but plenty of life left on them all and some nice natural relic wear on the fretboard. Headstock is pretty darn good w/only a couple of edge dings, a more noticeable one on the upper edge and the obvious "fisheye" looking ding that you see on the face of the guitar. Appears that it came stock without a Truss Rod Cover or String Retainer.
The Body is an aged Yellowish Creme and has various dings/bumps/bruises, typical neck pocket lacquer cracks and some paint chipping on the lower cutaway neck pocket area.
Overall...nothing of a major nature or cause for concern.
Includes Original Control and Tremolo Cavity Covers (although Trem Cavity Cover is not shown in pictures).
No case, but will be well packaged, double boxed and insured when shipped.
Asking $500.00 or "Best Reasonable Offer" plus $48.00 shipping in the Continental USA (shipping is based on actual cost from when it shipped to me from New York to Colorado). *** NO TRADES...NEED TO ACTUALLY SELL THIS ONE.
