FS: 1995/1996 Ampeg Super Jet

For sale is a 1995 or 1996 Ampeg Super Jet. I'm not sure of the year but I know it was an early one. It was made in St. Louis and these are well known for being really solid amps. The pcb is really nice and looks like great work inside the amp. It uses EL34s and 12AX7s, rated at 50 watts, a single 12 inch speaker. Single channel with a full EQ and reverb. These are really great sounding amps. I love the reverb on this amp... LOVE IT.....

The speaker was changed for a Fender eminence yellow speaker. The person who owned it said he like the original speaker a lot and contacted Ampeg to find a suitable replacement (he blew the speaker out with a fuzz face or something) and they told him this was the closest speaker to what was in his ampeg. I don't know if I would have put this speaker in it but I do know its a great sounding amp and I didn't feel the need to mess with it.

The only known issue is the reverb. I don't know exactly what is going on but it will turn off and on, on it's own. Like, it will be normal and sound amazing for 20 minutes and then turn off for 20 minutes and then back on.... the most I ever did was clean the connections to the tank and on the board but it didn't do anything.

Noooo!

Also worth mentioning is that this is the 3-band/non-trem version. Much better tone controls than the one-band/trem version.
