I'm looking to sell my 1997 Gibson Les Paul Special in wine red. The many features of this guitar include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, 60's neck profile, glossy nitrocellulose lacquer finish, nickel hardware, ABR-1 and stop stail bridge, Grover mini tuners, mother of pearl dot inlays, mother of pearl headstock logo, creme neck binding, and a vintage style headstock. This guitar also has upgrades which include:

-Seymour Duncan SP90-1 Vintage P-90 pickups (just like the ones Mike Ness of Social Distortion uses!)

-Schaller Strap Locks

The guitar has a few dings and blemishes (photos available). The most notable are a few dings on the top (nothing through the finish), a few scrapes on the back (nothing through the finish), a strap post hole at the neck heal (does not affect the playability in any way) and some buckle rash/warming on the back (again, nothing through the finish). Other than that, this is a beautiful guitar in great shape. Plays like a dream and is currently setup with .10 gauge strings. I do not have the original pickups, but you will agree that these pickups exceed the sound quality of the original P-100 pickups. Comes with the original hardshell case.

I'm looking to get $850 PayPal'd and shipped (continental U.S. only). No trades, please. PM me if interested.

I want this badly, been on a huge Sean Costello kick lately! Sure hope it is still available when I have the money...

I'm normally more fond of the yellow, but that looks awesome. Too bad I don't have the cash.

Yeah, when I was looking for this guitar, I wanted the TV yellow model. Couldn't find one to save my life then. The vintage sunburst color was pretty cool, too. It was like TV yellow with a black burst around the edges. Way cooler looking that the burst on the Junior models.
