FS: '92 Gibson SG Special - Trying to find a price

This for my friend Shane somewhere on here a while back I asked about some Phat Cats for this guitar.

i would say 8.5-9 out of 10 cosmetically

It is a 1992 SG Special
black
Not a faded
we think it has ebony fretboard, pretty sure
duncan phat cats
original humbuckers

he is trying to find out what he can get for it, any help?

Probably 5-600 range, but Ebay is your best price guide.

Most likely not an ebony board, they only put those on a couple different high-end SG models like the Supreme. A Special would have std rosewood.

Check eBay, but 5-600 sounds about right.

How does it sound with the Phats? I'm thinking about a set for my Epi SG.

hey man it sounds great, i like it a lot
we were going to upgrade the pots but now he is thinking about just keeping it

i did some ebay re-search and it looks like maybe 575-615 or so around 650ish shipped.

i think it is ebony it sure looks like it, it doesnt look like rosewood!
