FS (again): Gretsch Electromatic G5422TD, w/ Gretsch case

I picked this up two or three years ago, and just haven't bonded with the neck on the thing.

It's pretty much in pristine condition. And there's an Epiphone Emperor Swingster at the local GC that whispered sweet nothings in my ear the other night...

I can post more pics, if anyone wants 'em.

I'll also throw in some small spare parts I picked up - Gretsch strap locks, switch knobs, that sort of thing...

that Swingster is is indeed quite sweet. i wish i could trade my regular old Jimmy Page coloured Emperor for a Swingster.

What are your thoughts on the Gretschbuckers ?

A little lacking in the woody tone, tbh. Not the classic Gretsch sound, but decent pickups none the less.

yea. i like the Gretschbuckers myself exactly beacause they don't sound like normal Gretch pickups which i find a bit trebly squealy. i like the tamer controlled sound of the Gretschbuckers.

don't hate me Grestch Purists... : )
