It'll sound pretty different from SH-6.
O-k..my impressions in a Basswood Jackson Dinky with bolt-on maple/rosewood neck tuned to Eb:
The Pup is high output. Not super high but = Distortion. Has a lot of low and low mids. The mids are very present and brash. There's a frequency in the mids I didn't like. Yeah..I could have eq'd it out...but then my eq is off for my other 2 guitars which both sound good on the same eq setting. Highs are rounded and not ice pick at all. Not subdued...but not shrill like the SH-6 can get. I put an A8 into a Full Shred and had the same mid frequency thing going. Its an open Pup...not overly compressed like you'd think. I do a lot of fast and syncopated Low E and A string stuff with diads and triads pedaled off them...and the Pup couldn't keep the definition the Full Shred has.
