It's back!
I have an oversized 2x12 cab in literally dead mint condition(celestion tag still hanging from handle) loaded with Celestion Alnico Golds. The cab is wired to 16 ohms and has nary a scratch on it. Got shipped to my door and has been in my climate controlled and smoke free room since then. Need cash so now it's gotta go. The cab has a split two piece back for variable partial open back options. The two piece back allows you to have the opening at the top, middle or bottom of the cab for different tone responses. With the opening in the middle you get more mids and highs radiating out into the room from the back of the speaker cones....with the opening at the top, you get a little more low end and with the opening at the bottom, you get even more bass reflecting off of the floor. The two 12's are rear loaded with T Nuts which makes it easy to swap out speakers, though I don't know why you would as the celestion golds sound AMAZING.
The speakers alone cost about $300 a piece(link here) and the cab costs close to $800 new. I'm selling mine for $700 shipped(shipping's gonna cost me about 150-175) or $600 picked up. I live in Ventura, Southern California and would really rather have a local pick up but I will ship it if someone wants it that bad. I can also meet someone half way if they live in northern cali. I've had good deals with RVmorton and Demon on TGP, StillLearnin' on the Seymour Duncan forums, and BOOBIES on Harmony Central. I also have 54 transactions with 100% positive feedback(link) on evilbay.
