The Trifecta is based on the old Suppa Tonebender/Jumbo Tone Bender which were based on the old triangle Big Muff pedals...that why David called it Trifecta...there are only a few small differences between those 3 pedals and with the toggle switch you can switch between all 3. The sludge control basically dials OUT low end from the original circiuts since all 3 of those pedals are known for a bottom heavy sound but you can dial it all back in and really move some air.

In General the Barber is in the "wall of sound" fuzz camp. There is nothing subtle about it - except the differences between the three positions. I find the differences are most noticable with a clean amp and with the controls dialed in to modest (10 - 2 o'clock) levels

I'm selling the Barber because I have found that I am looking for something somewhere between a ToneBender and a Fuzz Face. Muff is not my thing.
So rather than a pedal quest I am building it myself. I am building a Fuzz Face curcuit with slightly different component values and a treble booster with a full range switch - both are using low gain silicon trannys, tho I will also be experimenting with an OC44 germ in the booster.
Ultimately I am putting together a late 60s-esque board. I already have a modified v847 and a Memory Toy delay.
So... Whatcha got? Effects or otherwise.
Right now I am also in the hunt for a new bridge pickup for my son's new MIA strat. Probably going in the direction of a hot stack plus or lil screamin demon

i don't have a lot of stuff to trade but i love fuzz pedals, the color orange and the word "sludge" so i'm gonna think really hard about it.

Would you be interested in a custom Shop Crazy8 bridge pick up for the Trifecta? It's brand new and never been used... an awesome superstrat pick up. My son has one in his Ibanez and it's a superb pick up... I just don't have a guitar for it.
