Ok, I sold the other 3 so here's what I have left:

1. Boss DS-1 with Monte Allums Tri-gain Recto mod
2. Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff w/ Top Boost (the big one with 3 band EQ)

Just with the distortion. I agree that this is a flaw in its design.
