Not the reply you're after, but does the "HM" in HM Strat stand for Heavy Metal? I've never gotten this straight.. I remember seeing these Strats in stores, years ago, and so when I started seeing people talking about HM Strats on usenet, I assumed they were referring to these. Then later on, someone said something that made me think the HM stood for Hand Made.

Is it one of these, or neither?

Never heard the handmade reference, but almost positive it's referring to Heavy Metal.
