Is it this STR-1 SD 54 Vintage model?

SD describes the STL-1 bridge, but doesn't describe the STR-1 neck. Can you describe how it sounds and responds, compared to similar pickups, such as a Fender AV '52 RI neck pickup?

welcome to the forum yegbert.

yes, it is the same pickup. to be honest, i bought the pickup for a project that was abandoned. it was never installed, hence, i have no idea how it sounds and respond. you may want to try the pickup lounge. folks here are really helpful and they will definitely chime in if they have the experience with it.
