Hey guys, up for sale is my Hummingbird 12. This is the best 12 string I have played under a thousand bucks...very jangly but also deep and resonant.

Solid spruce top, rosewood fretboard, mahogany back and sides, BEAUTIFUL burst and dreadnought design, grover tuners...classic hummingbird design...this is a really high quality guitar...much better than any epiphone model I've played (electrics and acoustics)... There is only one tiny nick on the clearcoat of the shoulder...otherwise its perfect.

I didn't realize how rare these were until I realized that im a 6 string player, not a 12 string player, and decided to see how much these go for....I cant even find any INFO on them anywhere except for one harmony central review! I only saw one go on ebay and that was a couple months after I bought mine and it went for $630+shipping with no case and quite a few dings. They were only sold for less than a month to my understanding as a special order for Music123.

The Hummingbird 12 comes with the coffin case shown in the photos.

I'm seeing if i can get $700 + shipping...or shoot me an offer and I'll think about it.

Get your hands on the only non-copy 12 string Hummingbird...Gibson OR Epiphone ever made! (to my knowledge)

anybody interested? you'll be hard-pressed to find another for sale...or even someone else that just has one...these are so nice people don't want to sell them! ;]

nice solid spruce top ;] and possible solid mahogany sides/back.......sounds very resonant like all solid....not too sure tho...there are no specs out on this limited run

Blue Book says for excellent condition, 175-200. Seems like you're asking for an awful lot, especially for something that sold new 2 years ago for 300 on clearance.

Now, if it were a Gibson, that'd be a different story. They were only made in custom batches, and worth a whole lot of green.

BTW, back and sides are laminated. Not that it's a bad thing, some of the best guitars have laminated back and sides. I personally find it more appealing considering that in theory it's much stronger.

I think I have seen them new in store for about that price, even maybe a little cheaper. Re-adjusting your price could help you sell.

I'd really be surprised if you found one new in store for that price. If I remember right, they were a special run done for Music123. They sold new in the catalog for 500, and clearance was 300.

Now, for the quality that it is, 600 isn't bad. But, we're talking used prices here.

Well, the reason I have the price at what it is, is because I've seen two on ebay sell for around this price awhile ago. And those are the only two I have ever seen show up. It's no surprise to me that they never show up for sale...they are definetly worth keepin...great 12 string! I'm just seein what I can get since you can't find these anywhere.

When I bought mine, they were only sold at Music123 for less than a month, and were introduced at $350, then they raised the price for the last ones available when I bought mine.
