FS/FT Ibanez Metal Screamer (TS9 chip)

Anyone want an Ibanez Metal Screamer? It's in decent shape, just a few bruises, but it has the JRC4558D chip in it, and it sounds like a TS9 Tube screamer that's been hopped up a little. But setting the gain and tone knobs right will still yield the TS9 sound in my opinion. I've seen them sell on ebay for around $45.00 shipped, so that's what I'm thinking, or swap for a Duncan pickup or other cool pedal.

I have enough OD boxes, and it's time to move this one out. But if there are no takers, I'll just keep it in the arsenal.

If you love something, set it free on the Duncan classifieds

If no one buys it, take it back and play through it again! :dunno:

The high end isn't fizzy or square waved, so it won't add a harshness to the sound, but if you turn the tone knob up, it'll get crisper and more biting than a TS9. But the actual overdrive sound that you hear coming out (the breakup itself) isn't more fizzy or sizzly than a TS9, probably since it's using the old chip.
