Like the title says I'm looking to sell or trade my Kustom Defender 112 50watt amp. $430 + shipping, or trade for a loaded cab, 212, 412, 215, 212+115 (ala some randal cabs), or 410...Cab Brand, colors, etc... doesn't really make much difference to me (though fender style cosmetics is preferred), the things that do matter though are...
Speakers: Prefer Celestion, Eminence, or Weber Speakers (V30, G12T100, Green backs, Swamp thangs, Legend V12, Common wealth, Texas Heats, Wizards, Tonespotter, Governor, Private Jack, Weber Michigan or Chicago, etc...picky but not THAT picky and would def consider most others)
Needs to be 4ohm mono, or 8ohm stereo (either or, or it needs to be capable of being rewired 4ohm) but I might accept something else who knows?
Needs to handle at least 70watts (the more it can handle the better)
The Kustom is a really kool amp. Unfortunately I need money for a cab to go with the Bassman head I just got, and therefore need a 4ohm cab more than I need the Kustom. My loss is your gain, haha.
The Defender is THIS one, not the weird little 5w amp they also call the defender....Its a great amp, single channel with a defeatable master volume...Cleans are definitely in the BF fender camp, Dirt is somewhere between Plexi and JCM800 style marshall sounds.
Check out some of the demo's on Youtube to get an Idea...its a pretty amazing little amp for the small amount of $$ it costs. I'm gonna be pretty bummed to see it go actually.
Will sell outright for $430 + shipping (local pickup prefered though), or Trade for a Loaded Cab. I can take pics if ya want, though it looks just like the one on Musicians friend, haha....In like new shape, lots of life in the tubes (EH EL34's and 12AX7's).
