I've gone through several amps in the past year looking for the right tone and I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. This amp is incredible though, and I am considering keeping it but I have decided it might be best if I learn how to build amplifiers in my search for ultimate tone. So I am selling this to help fund this new endeavor.
The amp is a randall RM100C. A 100 watt tube 2x12 combo amp with tons of cool features. One of the nicest probably being the user friendly bias system. It can take many different types of tubes as well, and since its so easy to bias you can try out any number with no pricely visits to an amp tech. It is currently loaded with TAD 6L6gwc-STR power tubes. It has one Celestion g12t-75 and one Eminence Texas Heat speaker(a combination I like, but is easily replaced, will knock 50 bucks off for each speaker youd rather not have if you'd like to install your own). There are a few scratches and a couple small rips in the tolex(its not a very tough tolex). I do have a soft cover for the amp though that will come with it.
The three modules I have are the Blackface, Clean, and XTC. However there is a problem with the blackface module in that it must have a loose wire because sometimes it will not go on unless you tap the front of it, regardless of which spot it is loaded into. This is kind of counterbalanced by the fact that this blackface module was modded in the past and it sounds absolutely amazing.
I do not have a footswitch available for the amp.
I would prefer a local deal. I'm in the suburbs of chicago, but will drive up to an hour and a half to meet half-way. Pics upon request. Cash only. I'm looking for 1300. Shoot me a PM if you are interested or have any questions.
