If I had a guitar to put these in I would pick them up; all of my guitar real estate is already taken up by WCR's. I can't help but think that these would be easier to sell on thegearpage or ebay as members are more focused on Seymour Duncan pickups here. Good luck with the sale!

I think they are voiced perfectly for an SG in both the bridge and neck position; that is Jim Wagner's recommendation and what he uses in his own guitars. I went to a Scumback Speaker shoot out with my SG loaded with Anniversary Seth Lovers and A/B'd it directly with Jim's guitar loaded with the American Steele's through my Marshall. I dropped the money for 2 sets that day; that was back in 2008 and I have not thought about looking back.

Thank you again for the input... I am a Strat -Tele - player, Not a Les Paul..... I stay away from humbuckers, too booming, way too much mid-range
But I also heard some awesome Humbuckers tone around !.... and they can be beautiful,,,,,! I'm a Blues player with lots of feeling in my phrasing distortion is not my thing.... Although I do play thrue a Ethos OD, gives me that Dumble flavor..But I got hold of an 02 SG thick neck , I am converting it to P90's, But also bought myself a Honeyburst 2012 w/490's in it... Split coils, and I'm gassing for some WCR's, hopefully via trade for the single coils SR's.... If Ican't pull this trade, I can see myself calling Jim or Carol for a set of Combos...
