Gibson T-Top pickup in gold cover in quite mint condition with long original wire => pending payment
here is nice, near mint, vintage Gibson T-Top from the 1980, last of the kind.
as you may already know, by June 1980 the T-Top bobbin has gone and replaced by what people used to call Tim Shaw PAF reissue.
I came to conclusion and would called this pickup as a 'transitional' one from the T-Top to Tim Shaw PAF reissue.
I haven't open the cover, since it looks like that it never removed before so I want to keep it that way (it's quite difficult to find old pickup with cover never removed before).
but I previously had another three T-Top pickups, from 1979, 1980, and 1976/1977 (it already had stamped baseplate instead of sticker which ended up in 1975, but with no date stamp which begun to showed up in the 1978).
the one without the date stamp, has maple spacer and short Alnico V magnet. while the other two with date stamp, use white plastic spacer and a little bit bigger Alnico V magnet similar with magnets from 1982, 1983, and 1984 Tim Shaw PAF that I also had.
so they have all those Tim Shaw pickup parts, except it use T-Top bobbins instead of Tim Shaw bobbins.
I assumed that this un-opened pickup will also have all those Tim Shaw parts but with T-Top bobbin.
but then Gibson at that time was far from consistent, so you might find regular T-Top inside (but I highly doubt it).
the pickup itself is still in good condition, near mint I would say.
the gold color still bright both on the cover and the screws with only light scratches, long wire (more than 13" left, so I think this one came from neck position).
so this is nice example of old pickup in very good condition.
I will ship the pickup from Indonesia, using registered airmail (you can trace it online on local Post Indonesia website).
usually it will take from 2 to 4 weeks time to arrive on its destination (depending on postal traffic, weather condition, customs clearance, etc).
if you want a faster shipping time, we can use Express Mail Service (EMS), it's a little bit expensive, cost for every country is different.
for US destination please add $10 for use of EMS.

I also listed this pickup on eBay (same id name slim_blues_boy) and Reverb. cheaper price if you buy from here since I don't have to pay that hefty fee.
