Up for grabs is a guitar I've wanted to own for a long time. It's a gorgeous Gretsch 6120 DSW Nashville Western - Excellent condition with OHS case! I am just not a hollowbody guy and although I knew that going into it, I just wanted to own one for a minute to say I gave it another shot.
Details:
Deep laminated Maple body, dual DynaSonic single-coil pickups, polished Bigsby vibrato tailpiece with 1956 handle, Rosewood fingerboard with vintage "wide-block" position markers, Grover machine heads, "arrow" knobs, Gold hardware and Western Maple Stain finish. Full western inlays, G brand on body, western engraved fingerboard markers and steer head headstock inlay. There is the tiniest of dings on the Bigsby - near where the strings are placed, but that's the only "flaw" I can find on it. Obviously it's purely (slightly) cosmetic.
Serial number JT0507XXXX built at the Japan plant
Wanting to get $1,775 PP'd/shipped in the ConUS. REFERENCES READILY AVAILABLE. This is an "OBO" price, but be reasonable if throwing out offers. Not really looking for trades at the moment. You can try me, but really the only thing I'm wanting right this second would be a black or sunburst double bound American Fender tele rosewood board, with a value greater than $1000 (think: '62 AVRI, CS, etc.) plus the appropriate amount of cash on your end. I might dig a Nash or Danocaster as well... color doesn't matter there, but single coils are a must.
I'm located in the North Atlanta area... would be happy to meet and knock off some for a face-to-face cash deal.
References available if needed.
