I bought this amp from forum member Simon F, who was the original owner. It's a cool amp, but as I really need money and it's just too loud for what I need at the moment, I'm afraid it has to go.
It's pretty much in the same condition as when I bought it. There are a few small rips and marks in the tolex, but very very few and nothing very large. It's in excellent condition considering its age. The grillcloth is also very good but it does have a few slight discoloured patches (not that noticeable). Really, the only thing wrong with it is the handle, which is a bit cracked and worn, and this could easily be replaced although it's still working. It comes with a battered old amp cover.
The speakers are two Celestion G12's. It would be best to retube the amp, but the tubes aren't too bad as they are.
Although some JTM60's have reliability problems, this was obviously a very good one, as neither myself nor Simon ever had any problems with it. As it has been kept within the Seymour Duncan Forum family, you know it's been taken care of.
I'm just looking to get what I paid for it: £275. I'd rather not do trades, but let me know what you have and I'll let you know if I'm interested.
I'd rather do a local sale (around London area) but I can ship the amp if necessary. Just let me know where you live and I can get an estimate of the cost. I'll do international.
