FS & Possible Partial Trades: Ibanez Artist AR-50 1981 with Original Case

Due to some upcoming expenses I need to part with my beloved Ibanez Artist. Recently received a pro setup with EB Regular Slinkys. Super low action. Guitar has never been played outside of home and very little at that. Lived mostly in the case. It's damn near flawless except for two small chips on the top lower side but that's to be expected to be 30 plus yrs old.

Asking $625 shipped cont. US. Will consider foreign sales also but there will be extra s&h. Paypal gift or money order.

Will also consider partial trades for the following:
SD or Dimarzio trem spaced bridge humbuckers (high output please)
SD or Dimarzio std spaced bridge HB's in cream or zebra (high output)
Certain pedals (make any offers)
Pedaltrain pedalboard

Feel free to offer any other stuff. Never know what I'll take. PM all offers.

Thanks-

Noticed two blemishes and added new photo. Price adjusted accordingly.

Bump and question. Since this sale isn't getting much attention I'll also post this question in the amp section. I have a chance to trade this locally for a Fender Supersonic 60 combo. Worthwhile trade?

This is the greatest guitar I've ever played! I was searching samples on youtube & found out my friend (PixxyLixxx) has a sunburst one from 80-82. His has the Super70's (which are getting to be rare & in demand. Probably the most popular Alnico8 pickup of all time because of Eddie Van Halen.)

Construction, sound, looks; it is SOLID!

Hate to quote a cliche' but "they don't make 'em like this anymore." Not one of those "weight relief" chambered so called solid bodies Gibson passes off these days. This thing is a bear to play standing. Honestly I don't think Gibson could compete with the Artist then especially with the massive price difference then.

Interested in buying it? So far the most serious offer I've had is for a Fender combo amp. Wouldn't sell but I could use the money right now.

Bump for lowered price. If this goes on without any serious offers I'll most likely take the trade offer I received locally. Don't let this beauty get away! :bling:

Killer guitar from the golden age of Ibanez. Those old Artists are incredible! I hope this finds a good home.

Nice old Iby bro. Wish I had some thing you wanted to trade for but---.
I would look hard at that SS in trade if the amp is really clean.

Yeah, the supersonics seem to get some mixed reviews all over the place. The folks that get a good one seem to think they're the greatest. Some, are just flat out lemons. Just got a call from the gent that offered the Fender and he said he may be able to offer cash this Friday so I believe I'll hold out on that providing I get no offers here or on ebay.

Truthfully, I was looking forward to hearing it. Providing it was trouble free it really seems like it would be a good amp. But as the Wu Tang used to say "C.R.E.A.M". LMAO!

The Artist just left the building! Just ran the supersonic 60 1x12 through it's paces and I couldn't resist. None of the noise or hiss I've read about. Loud enough to shatter glass and the "burn" channel impressed me way more in person than I thought it would. The two clean modes speak for themselves. Bassman up and down and the superlux mode was the clean sound I've always wanted. Now, if it'll hold up....
