FS: PRS ce22 pre factory :-(

So, I really need some money, between school and GAS I can no longer hold on to this. :lame: Anyway, it's a pre factory 1994 PRS ce22 in trans purple flame. Let me start by saying it has been played and has little nicks and dings, overall when playing it if someone's not up close you can't see a lot of it. Personally I liked that because you don't feel like you'll ruin it by ACTUALLY playing it. Got a real worn in feel. Back to the guitar, the mounting rings were those custom cut ebony rings I talked about a while ago that took forever and cost a lot to get made :-( but they do increase tone and look really good. I got matching knobs to go with it. It has a three way selector over the 5-way rotary (you all talked me out of it) but I will include that and an extra ebony knob if you choose to use it. The pickups are Duncan custom 5 in the bridge and an Alnico pro II in the neck that are creme zebra. The guitar looks cool and is meant to be played and sounds AWESOME! Make an offer I'm looking around $1300, and it has an original case and all the parts (minus the pickups) with it and it has strap locks. Anyway, pm with questions!

Consider trading this for an ESP Eclipse S-I Python?

I live in MA, haha.

holy snikies! I've never seen one of those. Send me pictures. How'd you get one?

Yeah, but I don't really play it much anymore. I could probably get a little over $2000 for it, but I think there's little market for some obscure Japanese guitar like this.

Plus, something finnicky with the wiring's going on. I've got little to no experience with soldering so I've not gotten around to fixing it. I'm gonna bring it to a shop soon, though.

The neck is insane and the neck-joint is even more ridiculous.

Oh man, that PRS looks juicy! If I had a G to burn I'd buy it in a second.

NICE guitar, if you didn´t need cash I´d be seriously tempted myself.... Do you still have the original Pickups? IIRC they should be a Dragon at the neck and a HFS at the bridge... Same question for all original accents (PU rings and Knobs)... IF I bend over backwards to get it I´d like to not have to do a pretzel on top to restore it to stock... Of course I would want the 5way as well...

Dunlop or Schaller straplocks? If they´re Dunlop you can keep them... ;)

But FTR: PRS opened it´s current factory in Stevensville, Maryland in ´89 IIRC... I´m fairly certain that there´s a piece by written PRS himself in ´92 wherer he speaks about expanding the factory, which is impossible if you don´t have one yet;)

If I didn't need the cash you'd be over it? I don't get it. I have all the original stuff for it minus the pickups. Which if I remember correctly were Dragon II's.

^^ becasue I have ZERO cash at the moment (very literally 1.87€ that has to last at least 4 weeks until my income tax return) and don´t think that Jacksons will do you much good if "So, I really need some money, between school and GAS.I can no longer hold on to this" That is also why i would have to bend over backwards to get it should I decide to do so, i´d have to sell at least one axe to fund it if not 2...;)

It´s not my fault that most schools don´t take guitars as tuition :D:beerchug:

But I´m working on it, maybe I can get something rolling sooner than epected..I normally don´t really like purple but something about this guitar is screaming at me to take her...

Oh, I see. Well I am open to trades, but I've already got a jackson soloist so I'm set on that front. Yeah there was something about this guitar that really caught me, like you said I'm not a purple guy, or really a PRS guy but its really cool.
