Hey bros,
Up for grabs is a Seymour Duncan SSL-2 Vintage Flat. I really love this pickup, I'm not even sure if I like the SSl-6 better. They sound exactly the same, but the SSl-6 has a little more output with less treble, and a little more emphasized quack. I think I probably would have left the SSl-2 in there had I'd known, but I like them both equally so I'm not swapping them. I'm not doing surgery for awhile so I'm selling it. It has a white cover, but I can give you a glossy black cover with copper shielding if you want, and I can also give you a matte black cover. SOLD!
The pickguard came on my '87 MIJ '57 reissue strat. It's 1 ply-white, the pickups are very similar to the ssl-2s, and they do sound really good. The pickups and knobs have the "aged" look, only it's missing the switch tip knob. Also, for some strange reason the previous owner decided he would drill and extra hole right in front of the bridge for an additional screw. $50 + shipping

thanks for lookin!
