I'd take a picture but is boxed up and ready to go. Its brand new in the box, package was cut open, pickup was mounted to the pickup ring, but had interferance with the guitar route and pickup placement. Back in the case it went. No leads have been cut, no modifications, your getting a perfect pickup.

Re: FS SD Twangbanger NIB

Someone with a Strat better snatch this up. KILLER pickup and great price.

Re: FS SD Twangbanger NIB

If this pickup is still available:

I have a G&L Legacy ... pickups are North-South-North "UP". So they are backwards from regular Strat pickups. I need a North Up Twangbanger for the bridge. I've read here that they are already backwards.

Can you tell me how a compass reacts to the magnets?

Re: FS SD Twangbanger NIB

Sorry I just checked in and viewed your post. I would put money on it they are not backwards from normal strats. Between my dealer that handled the order and the SD Rep, we ordered the pickup RWRP because I was going to use it in conjuction with a Phatcat in a Hamer Phantom. That puts both pickups in the bridge position like a Motherbucker. So in the middle position I wanted it to be noiseless and the rep confirmed that the PhatCat, Twangbanger are wound and polarity is part of the Quality Control Process. If one is backwards it a mistake. I'll have to dig up a compass if I have one.

Re: FS SD Twangbanger NIB

I want to add that I will trade plus some cash if needed for a SD 59 Neck Bucker J wound in Zebra, RZ, or Creme/Cream.

I made a purchase since posting this a couple of weeks ago. I have asked Zhang to conjure up something similar ... RWRP with a tap. The G&Ls are backwards from Strats ... so any bridge I buy to match the other G&L pickups will need to be wound/magnets like a middle Strat pickup. Thought this might be an opportunity. But I ordered the Zhang pickup a few days ago. Worth waiting for the tap to keep the notch setting the same ... all's well that ends well.

Thanks for the response anyway though.
