for sale:
- MJ wound SH-1 PAF 59' Model Set, zebra 59NJ & black 59BJ => SOLD
nice older pair of SH-1 PAF 59' Model.
some people said that regular pickup made by MJ (with initial J sticker) is better than the other.
some people said they all the same regardless who made that pickup.
for me personally, generally speaking, older pickups tend to sounds better than newer ones, including these MJ pickups. lot of factor can determine why.
but after all, why Seymour made MJ as manager of Custom Shop and his right hand if she ain't good?
so anyway, these are great pickups and the fact that MJ made this one only make these pickups more interesting than any other regular SH-1.
pickups itself still in great condition considering its age with plenty wire left, neck 14" left & bridge 13" left.
the neck might came fro early 90s, while the bridge came from late 80s (no Made in USA logo).
someone posted this timeline in here:
1. no backlogo, small tag without winder from late 70 up to ?
2. big backlogo without MiA, small tag without winder from ? to sometime before 1983
3. big backlogo without MiA, small tag with winder from at least 1983 to 1988
4. small backlogo with MiA, small tag with winder from 1988 to 2002
5. small backlogo with MiA, large tag with SN and Model from 2002 to ?
6. small backlogo with MiA, large tag with date from ? to now
I will ship the pickup from Indonesia, using registered airmail (you can trace it online on local Post Indonesia website).
usually it will take from 2 to 4 weeks time to arrive on its destination (depending on postal traffic, weather condition, customs clearance, etc).
if you want a faster shipping time, we can use Express Mail Service (EMS), it's a little bit expensive. every country has different rate. for example to US, please add another $15.
I will combine shipping if you buy more than one item, to minimize postage cost.
