I am selling a Splawn Super Sport 22 watt, 6v6 powered head. If you are looking for modded Marshall tones look no further, this amp has a great clean channel (as far as Marshall style amps go) and a fantastic gain channel with 2 foot switchable gain stages that Splawn calls "gears" Great juiced Marshall tones with much more low end available compared to the typical Marshall sound. The amp has an effects loop as well as a control called a "loop level." The loop level knob is to me misnamed, it does not really control the level of the loop but of the whole amp. The knob acts like a master volume after the power section, turning the knob controls the volume of the amp without effecting the tone which means great sounds at almost any volume. I just replaced the power tubes as the originals were a bit noisy. This amp does not need to be biased, simply go to the Splawn website and order the tubes with the correct numerical designation and you are all set. This amp takes tubes marked #24. I was told the custom tolex on this amp was a $150.00 upcharge but I cannot verify that. This amp sells for $1400.00 new in black tolex, this is a chance to get a deal on a great amp. looking to get $975.00.00 shipped, reasonable offers considered. No trades.
