The body has a white single ply pickguard and aged or cream colored knobs and pickup covers.

Logo is 'mostly' removed from the headstock

The tuners have been upgraded courtesy of the previous owner.

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

What type of pickup rout does it have? Is it a bathtub/swimming pool by any chance?

Also, do you know what type of strat it is? Affinity, Bullet, Standard, etc.?

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

I believe the body is bullet (older Korean) and the neck I don't really know, it's a large headstock, I can take a closer look at the neck tomorrow morning and see if I can tell. I only know the body because I bought the whole guitar and kept the neck for another project.

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

Then do you know if the body will accept standard depth pickups (I'm primarily concerned with humbuckers) ?

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

I do not know that for certain. I believe from when I was under the pickguard yesterday that it looked like it would have plenty of room. I can take measurements of the body tomorrow morning.

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

Generally, the Affinity is a thinner body, but I think some Bullets are and some aren't, depending on when and where they were made, but I don't know which ones are which.

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

Would love to trade for a hot rails, lil '59 bridge, hot stack bridge, or similar. Just putting that out there.

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

I could mount that in the bridge position of a strat couldn't I? (If I drilled 3 new holes for mounting it...)

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

Will your strat accept a humbucker bridge? If so, you can buy an adapter cheap. I've got mine in an Explorer. Id hate to let go of it because I really like it, but I don't have another tele for it to go in now.

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

Would be great if I had a pickguard that could accommodate humbuckers

Re: FS: Squier strat + parts

You have a pickguard for an '82-'84 Squier Bullet? I might trade the whole guitar for that...
