Time to sell my Stinger Blues Man. These are rare birds; cousins to the slightly better known Blues Pearl brand, both helmed by Robert Hudson. Both Stinger and Blues Pearl went "belly up" so to speak, so unless you buy one of these used there is no way to get ahold of them.
It's a 1998, #515. From my knowledge it's a Bassman clone with (really nice) reverb, but that has not been confirmed. Just got some new JJs put in it/got it checked out....it's all good and with the new tubes is sounding excellent. I like it alot, but I've found that I'm more of a British guy, so this isn't really doing it for me anymore.
There's not much info on these amps out there so some more specific things I simply just may not know. I will do my best to find out though. It's a pretty simple amp...just a BF Fender clone. The control layout is: Channel A---Vol, Treble, Bass, Channel B---Vol, Treble, Mid, Bass and a three knob (dwell, depth, tone) reverb. Each channel has a "Sting" (bright) switch. 2 6L6GCs for power tubes.
Here's one pic, more are here.
$650 + SHIPPING!! I'm not making much on this thing anymore...help a bro out!
