- 1976/1977 Gibson T-Top PAF Patent No.2,737,842 Pickup Black => SOLD

here is another nice vintage pickup from the 70s, Gibson T-Top pickup.

earlier T-Top (1965-1975) use Patent No. decal, while prior to that (1976-1980) they stamped the Patent No. to the baseplate.
starting from 1978, Gibson stamped production date on the baseplate too. I also found out that 1978-1980 (with date stamped) T-Top has similarity with Tim Shaw PAF (similar magnet, white plastic spacer) and only different in bobbin used (T-Top vs Tim Shaw bobbin).

this pickup already has Patent No. stamped baseplate, no date stamped, and use maple spacer & short Alnico V like Patent sticker T-Top. so, this one came from 1976 or 1977.
pickup in fair condition considering its age (almost 40 years old!), player condition with more than 11" wire left. so you can use it either in the neck or bridge.
personally, I like T-Top pickup for the bridge position, easily nailed down those classic rock sounds from the 70s (well Page, Angus, and many more, use T-Top). while on the neck, I love Tim Shaw PAF, perfect combination.

I will ship the pickup from Indonesia, using registered airmail (you can trace it online on local Post Indonesia website).
usually it will take from 2 to 4 weeks time to arrive on its destination (depending on postal traffic, weather condition, customs clearance, etc).
if you want a faster shipping time, we can use Express Mail Service (EMS), it's a little bit expensive. every country has different rate. for example to US, please add another $15.
I will combine shipping if you buy more than one item, to minimize postage cost.
check out my other listings. I'm downsizing my humbucker collections since I've been 'moving' to single-coil territory lately.

ask me if you have any question.
as is, no return.

(I listed this item on several other places too (eBay, Reverb, few guitar related forums), cheaper price in here since I don't have to pay fees)
