This is one of the best 1st/2nd stage Overdrives out there. This one is super cool as it has its own built in boost. You can also switch the order of the circuits with the middle toggle. How would you compare the tone of the overdrive to say, the Fulltone FD2 Mosfet? And what is the "cut" toggle on the right?

I've never owned a Mosfet so I can't make that comparison. I just asked the builder and he said the cut switch is to cut the high boost that's in standard position. I just left it in the up position. Here is a demo of the Ohm:
