Up for trade here is my 2006 American Standard Telecaster. Was my Main gigging guitar for quite a while, but after getting back into Jazzmasters it's just been sitting in its case at my bands Practice space for the past six months. So I figured it was time to trade it for something I'll actually use now. It's a great guitar, real light and resonant, best tele I've ever owned, unfortunately it just doesn't work for what I'm doing anymore.
In pretty good shape for a heavily gigged 8 year old guitar. But it does have it's share of bumps, dents, bruises and scratches. There is some noticable buckle rash on the back, not a lot, I couldn't even get it to show up in a picture. But it is there, so it needs mentioning. Really couldn't get the majority of the dings to show up, they're all very small, none even as big as a pencil eraser, but they are there. And honestly you probably wouldn't even notice them from a couple feet away. There is one noticeable dent on the top edge (pictured below), from it getting bounced off the edge of a table at one point. But even that is actually harder to see in person than in the picture provided. More of one of those "you can feel it" sort of things. If that makes sense.
The neck is in great shape, no dents, dings or scratches that I have noticed. There is a small bit of fret wear in the "cowboy chord" area, but even that is very minimal. Edges of the fret board are nice and rolled over, from actual play. Extremely comfortable neck. Seems to be the standard Fender C shape, but a thicker than most modern strats/teles, Closer to the 60's C shape. Nice and Chunky. Still has the protective plastic on the little "60th anniversary" medallion on the back of the headstock even (I didn't even notice that until I was taking pictures).
Currently setup with Ernie Ball "Skinny top Heavy bottom" (10-52) strings, with Medium Low action. No fret Buzzing, or dead notes of any sort anywhere along the neck.
It's currently wired up as an esquire, with a "Modern Vintage" GFS lil' killer in the bridge. Wired to the Three way standard tele 3 way switch to get Series/Split/Parallel operation. Standard Volume and tone controls (Both 250K I believe). With a Mini switch in between the pots, but its currently not serving any purpose other than filling the hole. But I'd be more than willing to set it back up to standard tele operation (with the original American standard Neck pickup), if you'd like. Unfortunately I don't think I have the original Bridge pickup anymore, so that won't be included.
Will include Original fender Hardshell case, which has been stenciled, and has lots of scuffs and whatnot from gigging. But beyond cosmetics the case has no structural problems at all, all latches work perfectly, and I'll include the keys for the lock.
If you'd like to hear it in action, Listen to the track in the link below. This telecaster is on literally every song on my band's last album, so Feel free to check out alot of the other songs on the album to get a feel for what it's capable of. But the track in the link gives the best representation of it's clean sounds, at the beginning at least...

The worst of the Dings...

Fret wear

Now for what I'd like to trade it for...
Mostly Looking for a Fender Jaguar, or another Jazzmaster. Especially a Thurston Moore, Johnny Marr, Troy Van Leeuwen or Lee Renaldo Signature, or 62 AVRI. But I'm also really wanting a Pawnshop Offset special too. I'll also accept Classic Player, and MIJ Jaguars, and Jazzmasters, but there'd have to be some cash (or some other sort of add on) involved too. May also be interested in MJT or other vintage spec Builds. No color Preference other than not wanting Bursts (but will make exceptions probably since I'm not really that picky).
Also interested in Starcasters (reissues), Mustangs, and May even be interested in trading Just the loaded body for a loaded 72' Tele thinline body. Again absolutely no Color Preference, other than not wanting bursts.
Anyways Thanks for looking, and Feel Free to ask any questions you may have. Thanks.
