Looking to trade/sell this Mint condition Hagstrom Viking Deluxe in all Goldflake for a Telecaster or???
It's MINT+++ and comes with a Hagstrom Guardian Case. Consider other guitars too, but I'm partial to American Tele's
It is 1 of 6 known to exist in North America and was sold from Erikson Music in Canada following the 2006 NAMM show.
They did not know how many Hagstrom UK might have they estimated there may be 18-24 total worldwide, but possibly less. I have been contacted by one owner in the U.K. who was unable to confirm how many there were from Hagstrom U.K. but said he has never seen another until mine.
This guitar's special finish has not been put into regular production and according to the reps at Erikson Music (Canadian Distributor) and North American Music and Sound (U.S. Distributor) they are not sure if Hagstrom will produce this guitar with the entire body being Gold flake neck to body front and back! According to the rep, who I have correspondence with, they have not produced or sold any since this special run. I will gladly forward this information to anyone who is interested.
The guitar itself is absolutely stunning and in MINT condition. I have played it twice, and it has a great bluesy hollowbody sound, but could tear up some rock too. Check out Youtube for some samples of this gorgeous guitar's sound.
Everything is immaculate and there are no blemishes, scratches, dents, dings cracks anything. This guitar is perfect! It has the slimmest neck and most incredible action I've ever seen on any guitar. You will not be disappointed with the feel, look or sound of this beauty!
