Fujigen Factory Tour Video

Re: Fujigen Factory Tour Video

Just a little bit better than that java guitar factory tour we saw. :outahere:

MIJ good

Re: Fujigen Factory Tour Video

That factory has turned out some guitars that are just balls-to-the-wall freaking awesome.

Re: Fujigen Factory Tour Video

My Tele is FijiGen-made from the '70's. I don't know what kind of wood they used but it's probably sen (Japanese ash) and has amazing tone.

I'm still GASing for a Fuji-Gen Jackson Dinky that I had played and loved but failed to buy on the spot. Next time I went there, cash in hand it wasn't that the guitar was gone but that the STORE was gone...

Ouch. That's like going home to see what's for dinner and finding out your wife left you for another guy.

He would have dropped to his knees right on the spot and let out an almighty ''WHY LORD! WHY ME?''

I wasn't aware that Fujigen built Jacksons. There was once another factory in Nagano Prefecture called Chushin that built Jacksons. Are you sure it wasn't built there?

Re: Fujigen Factory Tour Video

Thanks for the link. My very first Fujigen was a 78 Ibanez 2630. Since then, I've had several 'golden age mij' and newer stuff but the one I'm most proud of is the History Jazz bass I managed to bring home from a little store in Sasebo, back in my days as a young snipe (not snipeR lol) on the CVN74.

To this day, the only manufacturer I'll buy sight unseen is Fujigen and I know it will rip.

すごいよね。私は今月日本に行きますよ。そして、長野県に行けるかなぁ。本当に富士弦を見たいです。

Holy ****.

Re: Fujigen Factory Tour Video

Every time somebody slags Asian manufacture to me I have to remind them that Japan builds some of the best darn guitars there are to be had and even the Chinese and Indonesian factories are churning out some beautiful instruments these days.

One day I'll visit Japan and scope out the insanity they have in their shops.

Re: Fujigen Factory Tour Video

Japanese guitars are very nice indeed.

I agree about the quality of the neck thing they talk about, main thing I was impressed with when I got my first Fujigen made guitar (the gold one). I don't know, it just feels the biz, probably helped by the fact that it had been played before me for over 25 years.

So, I'm pretty happy with my brace of old Fujigen axes :).
