I just picked up an oddball guitar...actually it's quite cool. It's a 1990 ESP Custom Shop Flying V. It's not pointy, tho. The body and peghead look just like the Gibby. Anyway, it's got set-neck construction with a maple neck, ebony fingerboard, and a basswood body. It's rear-routed with a single humbucker at the bridge, single volume control, kill switch (mini-toggle), and a Schaller Floyd. The pup in there now is an ESP model that sounds like caca.
How would the Full Shred trembucker sound in this axe? For some reason, I recall reading that the FS and basswood compliment each other?? This guitar would be for general shredding and metal carnage
Thanks
