Full Shred Neck, did I get the right pickup??

So I bought a full shred neck pickup to go in my EC-1000, but the pickup itself says sh-10b on the back of it. The box it came in says neck (and appeared to be factory sealed, but I want to make sure before I solder it all up to the triple shot and put it in the guitar.

Anyone verify? Can I check it with an ohmmeter?

You should be able to check it easy with an Ohmmeter.

SH-10 Full Shred Neck: 7.4 k Bridge: 14.6 k

SD pickups have GREEN and RED wire on one humbucker coill, and BLACK and WHITE on the other humbucker coil.

That would mean that for Full Shred NECK you will measure:
R=3.8 KOhm between GREEN and RED and
R=3.8 KOhms between BLACK and WHITE,

giving the total of R=7.4 KOhms when coils wired in seris.

The same way, for Full Shred BRIDGE, you will get:
R=7.3 KOhm between GREEN and RED and
R=7.3 KOhms between BLACK and WHITE,

giving the total of R=14.6 KOhms when coils wired in seris.

usually the model number followed by a "B" is a bridge model. check it with an ohm meter like cronnin said

is there a logo on one of the pickup bobbins? if it's on the same side as where the lead comes out at the bottom, it is indeed a bridge model...

check the DC resistance though, do you know how to do this?
