full shred neck with nickel aliens?

I have seen full shreds with gold screws. Is it possible to get one with nickel or is it a custom shop order? Ill be be trading my Jazz neck for one if I can get the nickel allen screws.

Sounds like a shop floor custom. I have a Full Shred neck and it came with white bobbins and black allen screws.

I don't think the black is a coating, I think its a by-product of the hardening process they use on those screws. In any case, Love the full shred neck, my current favorite neck pickup by far.

Negative, the coating is black oxide and is applied to the screws.

I have tried for 2 days to reach the pickup exchange line with no success. If I can reach them I will find out if nickel is a custom order or not. It probably isn't a straight swap for my jazz

I spoke with the exchange peeps at Duncan today. They are going to exchange my Jazz neck for a nickel pole piece zebra Full Shred Neck. Great company, can't wait to try it.
