Full Surfer set vs. Surfer/TH bridge set

So, I just got a set of surfers, but I've read on here that alot of y'all have been swapping out the bridge pup for a texas hot. Just curious if anyone uses the full surfer set and prefers it to the TH bridge.

i have both sets and really like both of them. different flavors of the same basic recipe if you will. the surfer bridge is nice but some might think its too bright and maybe a little too hollow in the mid range, but the bottom end is great.

if you only have one it might be cool to mix the alnico II bridge pup with the alnico V neck and middle. i like both custom bridge pups but if i had to give the edge to one, it would be the custom texas hot.
