Funk/JazzRock Song

Hi there.

I´m new here, so I would like to introduce myself here with a song.

Here it is

I played the guitar, my bro played the drums and a friend of mine used some keyboards and a synthie. The Bass comes from my Keyboard by the way.

I´d like to know if you like it or not and some suggestions how I can improve the song.

Wow I'm liking this!

Nice guitar tones, the lead could do with being a bit more in the front of the mix though - and the bass kinda overpowers the rhythm guitar sometimes but still it sounds great

Really well executed stuff guitar wise

Sorry i'm not a fan of keyboard solos in the first place but some of the stuff wasnt too bad

What you recording with?

First of all thank you very much. Yeah, the mix is a lil unbalanced but I didn´t do that, it was my friend.
My guitar (lead) was an Ibanez RG 2570 with stock pu´s and a Korg AX 1500G (Multieffect board).
For the rythm is used a strat-copy, works alright I guess.
Soon I will change the bridge pup (JB) so I hope it´ll kick ass.

WELCOME to the forum. Very nice piece. Guitar playing was excellent. Definitely benifitted from some EQ'ing on playback (cut the bass, boosted the mids- much better).

Got it to work...

Really nice playing!! I don't like the mix as it is real boomy on the bottom end, it sounds like some processing was added to exaggerate the bottom end and I personally would love to hear this track with a more natural tonal approach. A roomier more open feel would make this thing breathe and really get the energy of the composition which I dig alot. I enjoy old school fusion and this had some great moments.

I dug the whole tune, keyboard solo & all. Of course as a guitarist (I use that term loosely), I'd like to hear a little more of you. Overall, very cool.
