Fuzz Face into solid state or modeller?

I love the sound of the Fuzz Face into a tube amp that is right at the break up point.

What effect would the Fuzz Face have on a solid state amp? My guess is that it would sound buzzy/fizzy.

What about a modeller? Would the Fuzz Face simulate its classic sound if placed before a Marshall model?

Just curious.

I can't comment on a modeller, but if you have a warm OD that sounds good with SS, put it after the FF and you should be happy.
