G12H30 8 vs 16 ohms / Prices?!?

I've noticed tjhe 70th anniversary g12h30 price differs based on ohms

8 ohms is 100 or so bucks
16 is around 150

is there some difference between the speakers other tham the ohms rating? I don't recall seeing such a price difference between the same speaker just based on ohms before

I have seen that too.

I suspect its overabundance of 8ohm speakers sitting around in store inventory. 16ohm speakers seem to be much more popular/in demand.

Hopefully. Ordered an 8 ohm then noticed the price diff. Just wanted to make sure I'm not getting an inferior version. You are probably correct, just logistics.

I have two 8ohm in my cab now. Have owned a 16ohm too. There's no difference in quality of sound between the two ohmages (assuming wired correctly).

They take awhile to break in. They are a little dark and cardboard-like at first. Pummel them for a bit before passing judgment.
