Out of my price range, but sure is gorgeous. https://www.fender.com/en-US/electr...-harrison-rosewood-telecaster/0115400721.html

. . . but not light on the shoulder.
It says that one is chambered. Still, $3k for a Tele?
The two I played were pretty vibrationally unspectacular, though they looked amazing. I would think that there would be other woods out there that can look just as good, but resonate better. Maybe the wood was too dense? Oily?
I love the look of them and have toyed with doing a project one but getting that size of rosewood is not cheap. I think Warmoth offered some replica bodies for a while?
While I was looking at it, I was thinking . . . one could use any conventional guitar wood, and add a Rosewood cap. Like LP's have a Maple cap. Would still look good and maybe solve the weight and tone issues.
That was my thought. Was thinking of using it as the top of a semi-hollow project.
That would be sweet. But where does one buy rosewood veneer? Or, thin rosewood?
