"Get Up (One Love)" Amplug AC30 through Amplitube.

I'm pretty sure many won't like this, it's pretty heart on sleeve POP.

I used the AC30 amplug through cabinets in the Amplitube software, Battery Drums, Vangaurd and Predator soft synths, and some string samples.

Oh well, then i'll happily admit to being one of the minority .... I dig it ! So that's what an Amplug sounds like ? Good sounds, the right ambience, good song ..... sounds fresh to me amid the sea of downtuned gain-soaked stuff i hear so much. A pleasure to listen to, thanks for sharing.

Thanks crusty I appreciate that. The amplug is a bit fizzy on chords and doesn't have the umph on the cleaner settings that a tube amp has. I'm broke though so I do my best.

another good one man! i like it. i'm glad to see someone using the amplug to the max. you have spurred me on to get a cable so i can interface mine with my DAW. nice work.

Thanks man, I appreciate it! I made a bunch of patches (in Amplitube) just using cabinets and effects no amps to run the amp plug through. I'm getting some distortion, digital, on some so I need to work that out.

I dig your emo/indie sounding stuff , very upbeat, singing and harmonies are great! I prefer more cymbols and drum variety but thats personal preference. cool guitars! :beerchug:

Thanks for the props bro, glad you liked it. The drums are dance beat drums, there isn't much variety in those.

Amp Plugs are good for that quick laydown of guitars....and so nice when the family sleeps
I usually helped mine with some extra eq and compression....
Like your take on this style!

I dig the tune as well. I may have said this before, but is there just a teensie weensie bit of "The Smiths" influence here? Or at least Morrissey? I love hearing all the different sounds that come across this forum man, and this music brings me back to a lot of kinda underground stuff that was around in the 80s.

Thanks VTHT and 75. I was trying to mix elements of trance with rock again, still the 80's comes thorugh! This recording has some problems, hopefully I'll fix them soon.

I don't have any pedals or I would try those, I have to run it through the Amplitube, which is only okay. You managed to get a good tone from yours VTHT.
