PSA: Yeah, this is NOT groundbreaking news, but I thought Id share. The Kramer leopard print Satchel model usually runs a Grand.. ZZounds has em on sale for $839. I like the purple one!! So come on boyz, snag some shredderrific toyz!!

I do have a question.. How do these new Kramers compare in tone and playability to the older ones??

I wont be getting one, but the hair metal fan in me sure wants one!

I agree bros.. for that kinda scratch, Im more about buying a vintage Kramer or something.. But, being a hair metal fan, I do like the cheeseyness of this... If I had the $$, Id collect Kline graphic Kramers and the custom painted Ibanez' that Warrant and CC and the like had..

Buy a cheap one, have it painted. Will cost less, and look better.

Gibson era Kramers (totally imports) are not on the same level as when Kramer was Kramer and in Neptune, NJ (most part imported from ESP and assembled in NJ).

for a low-to-mid level guitar, yeah maybe. if you want a Kramer, hunt down a real Jersey Kramer. don't let people selling them fool you, $500-600 is totally reasonable amount to pay for one in good condition. like most sellers, they will think that what they have is worth more (because, you know, it's theirs).

the Satchel model is pretty much a re-purposed Gibson Kramer Pace Vintage with one knob, different graphic, different board radius.

Yeah, sorry, those are ugly, especially compared to some of the Charvels you already own. Your Charvels are probably much better guitars too.

I guess it's due to his switch to Charvels. Those Kramers are cool if you've the spandex to match!

problem today for most rockers from the spandex era is not hairspray but .. hair :)

Im not getting one of these.. Just kinda like the graphic cuz Im an 80s fan. Besides, I have a friggin amazing 87 Pacer.. Was killer before and after I put a big brass block on the trem, its even bigger sounding..

I'm a child of the 80s, so I love the kitch! LOL (You've seen my paint jobs, right???)

That said, I'd spend $800 on something else and paint it myself.
